Uncle George Daily Submitted by Robin Sterling The Blount County Journal, 19 Jun 1914 Death of Aged Man "Uncle" George Daily, aged 69 years, died at his home near Joy Saturday, June 13. He leaves a wife and several children and a host of friends to mourn his departure. Funeral services were held at Austin Creek Baptist church near Joy, conducted by E.M. Bowerman and H.C. Bradley, Sunday. To the bereaved ones we extent our deepest sympathy.
