Nichols, Mrs. Mary Ticer, 66, a resident of Brantley, AL., died Saturday, August 21, 1999 in the Crenshaw Baptist Hospital, Luverne, AL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday from the Mt. Ida Methodist Church with Reverend Doc Kirby and Reverend Wayne Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Turner Funeral home of Luverne directing. Survivors include one sister, Miss Geraldine Ticer, one sister-in-law, Mrs. A. B. Sasser, both of Brantley, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will ly in state at the church for about 30 minutes prior to service time. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Walker, Dr. S. P. Walker, Dauldon Barrow, Tommy Everage, Robert Peek, and Edwin Mitchell.
