Hi, Iam searching for my grandmother's sister Delia or Della Turner Crompton. Delia's husband Frank Crumpton is on the St. Clair County, Trout Creek Alabama 1880 Census at age 16 with his father William and mother Martha Crumpton. Delia and Frank were married December 30, 1896 in Marshall County where Delia lived. Believe they may have returned to St. Clair County after the marriage. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Am trying to locate the CAPEHART family of St. Claire County. George Capehart and Elizabeth Jane (MELTON)CAPEHART were living there in the 1860 census, he was a blacksmith. She was a great deal younger. Their children: Mary 11/29/1859 Martha 4/16/1861 Fainy 12/7/1862 Laura Daughter 12/21/1867 John 2/21/1870 George 5/18/1871* Norah 5/03/1873 Son 6/21/1876 William 10-6-1878 My grandmother(George* daughter) was born in Ashville, Alabama in 1902 and their family travelled to Oklahoma in 1912. Grandmother says the rest of the Capeharts stayed in Alabama and mentioned a Capehart cemetary. Trying to obtain any info about the CAPEHARTS of St. Claire County.

I am looking for a cemetery record for Rebecca Dick, wife of Charles Dick, Revolutionary War soldier from Union District, South Carolina. Her sons were Hardin, Elijah, and Samuel Dick. I believe she was last known to be in St. Clair County, AL around 1840. She filed further Revolutionary War pension statements before a judge in 1840 in St. Clair County, AL stating her relationship to her husband, Charles Dick, and that she had never remarried. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Help is needed to place the following: James HOLLOMAN (HOLLIMAN) married Nancy WESTER 25/Feb/1844 St. Clair Co AL. Nancy was the dau. of Edward and Elizabeth YANCY WESTER. Various stories have Nancy killing James and running off with a married man Wm. "Bill" STAPP the blacksmith of Ragland. I would love to have some sources for this story and some clues as to the origin of James HOLLOMAN. Their son Wm D. HOLLIMAN (b. 1849)lived in Searcy Co Arkansas. I am interested in the Boland COX and Rebecca CABINESS family line. I am a descendant of their daughter Julia who married Francis Marion KING November 6, 1853 in Asheville, St. Clair Co., AL. Julia was born 18 May 1828 in Ashville, St. Clair Co., AL and died 16 March 1901 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., AR, and is buried in the Kellers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesboro. Francis Marion KING was born 15 May 1820/30 in Springville, Cullman Co., AL and died there 23 July 1861, from pneumonia. Would like to exchange info on my family line for info on other lines. Seeking information on Ella V. DOBBS who married Hosey Andrew Jackson on Aug 13, 1885. Hosey was 18 yrs and 8 months at the time of marriage. Ella may have had a sister, Fannie M. DOBBS that married John CONNELL on Nov 26, 1882. Ella V. DOBBS may have been married with children before marrying Hosey. They either later divorced, or Ella died, as Hosey married Millie Johnson in late 1893, and raised a family of five, before her death in Nov, 1917. Any information on this DOBBS family in Saint Clair Co. in the 1880's will ge greatly appreciated.

Murray & his first wife; I do have some photo's of her, though on the back she is named Naomi.
