The Higginbotham Will Case
Oneonta, Ala., August 11. (Special.)--The notable Higginbotham will
case
was decided here again yesterday in favor of the two sons--O.L. and
P.W.
Higginbotham. The case has been full of interest. W.H. Higginbotham
died
two years ago, leaving a large landed estate in this and Jefferson
county. In his will he left all of his property to his twso sons. His
duaghter and youngest child, Miss Kittie, contested the validity of the
will on the ground that it was procurred through undue influence. At
the
trial in the circuit court here, two years ago, the case was decided in
favor of the contestant. The supreme court reversed and remanded the
case, but the court here yesterday again rendered a verdict in favor of
the contestant, which probably ends the litigation.
