We are sorry to learn that Ernest Young, son of George B. Young of route 1, Oneonta, had the misfortune to break his arm Thursday.

Mr. & Mrs. G.W. Darden and daughters, Misses Nannie and Nevelyn, left Wednesday for a visit of a few days in Birmingham.

Mrs. G.S. Sloan, who is making her home with her son, J.B. Sloan, was very sick with la grippe in the beginning of the week.

A.S.T. Graves and family, of Blountsville, are visiting his brother Sheriff Graves, and other relatives in Oneonta.

Mr. Nash is a good citizen of high moral character and numbers his friends by the score. He has been an active worker in the Democratic party for a number of years and has always been true to the party. He is well qualified to fill the office he seeks and will have a strong following.
