Mrs. Jim (Mary) Barnes Submitted by Robin Sterling The Southern Democrat, 9 Jun 1910 On May 21st God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to call from this world Mrs. Mary Barnes, widow of Mr. Jim Barnes, who preceded her to the great beyond several years. She was a good christian woman, loved by all who knew her. She leaves three sons, two daughters and numerous relatives and friends to mourn her loss. To the bereaved children we would say—weep not, but imitate that life of hers. She has departed this life and gone to wait and welcome her children into that home God has prepared for his loved ones.
