Isaac Beasley Dead

Mr. Isaac Beasley, of Oneonta, aged 70 years and nine months, died at Tuscaloosa, Ala., Saturday, July 25th. Mr. Beasley had been in bad health for two or three years and recently his mind became defective. Two weeks ago he was carried to the hospital at Tuscaloosa for treatment and gradually grew worse until death relieved him. He was a good citizen, member of the M.E. Church, South. Having been born and reared in Cherokee county, Ala., he came to Blount county thirty-six years ago. He is survived by three sons—Columbus Beasley, of R. 1, Oneonta; Arthur and George Beasley, of Oneonta, and one daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Horsley, of Inland. The body was brought back home and carried to Mt. Moriah cemetery for interment. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. P.J. Jordan, of Tait's Gap, and Rev. H.C. Bradley, of Oneonta.
