B.F. Rogers Submitted by Robin Sterling The Blount County Journal, 10 Dec 1915 B.F. Rogers Dead Mr. B.F. Rogers died at his home in Oneonta Wednesday night, December 8th, after a few days illness from paralysis and a complication of diseases, aged nearly 87 years. The deceased was born in South Carolina in January 1829, and was a good citizen, member of the Baptist church and an old soldier. He is survived by his widow, who moved to Oneonta with him several years ago. Interment at Liberty cemetery, funeral services being conducted by Rev. W.M. McDonald.
