Funeral services were held at the Blountsville Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Tidwell; 2 sons, Joe C. and E. M. Tidwell; 1 daughter, Mrs. Ruby McPherson; one half-brother, O.W. Tidwell, of Florida; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
