Grandma Butts Submitted by Robin Sterling The Blount County Journal, 15 Oct 1915 Death of Aged Woman Grandma Butts, of Blountsville, route 2, aged about 84 years, died at her home last Saturday. This good old woman lived to a ripe old age and her life was one of usefulness. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church, her membership being at Mountain Grove church. Her remains were laid to rest in South graveyard Sunday.
