Uncle George Camp Submitted by Robin Sterling The Southern Democrat, 27 Aug 1903 The friends of Uncle George Camp will regret to learn of his death which occurred at his home at Woodlawn one day last week. Mr. Camp was a former citizen of this county and was well known in this section. He was 85 years of age and was one of the oldest citizens in Jefferson county. He joined the Primitive Baptist church and was baptized about a month ago.
