Mrs. Frances Clowdus Submitted by Robin Sterling The Blount County Journal, 12 Feb 1915 Mrs. Frances Clowdus Mrs. Frances Clowdus, aged 72, died at Chepultepec, this County, at noon Saturday, after an illness of several days. She died at the home of her son, Robert F. Clowdus. The funeral was held at the residence, and interment took place at the cemetery at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dean, of Beaumont, Tex.; one brother Prof. S.A. Ellis, of Birmingham, and children, Robert F. Clowdus, Lee Clowdus, Deforest Clowdus, of Chepultepec, and Barnett Frank Clowdus, and Mrs. Robert Richardson, of Birmingham, and Wesley Clowdus, of Alverado, Tex.
