H.S. Dial Submitted by Robin Sterling The Blount County Journal, 16 Jun 1911 Aged Citizen Passes Away The news of the death of H.S. Dial, aged 79 years, has just reached us. Mr. Dial died at his home on route 2, Blountsville, on Thursday, May 18th, from a general break down. Mr. Dial was one of his county's best citizens, and his death was a source of much regret to his countless friends. He had been a resident of the county for 42 years. He was a member of the Baptist church and had been for 45 years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. R.T. Presley.
