MRS. E.L. Blackwood dies near Blountsville
Mrs. Lou Blackwood, the beloved wife of E.L. Blackwood, died very suddenly at their home near Blountsville, last Friday. He death was due to heart trouble.
Mrs. Blackwood was 51 years of age and was a member of the Baptist church.
The deceased is survived by her husband and one son, Miller Blackwood, of Blountsville; four brothers, Joe Dempsey, R.G. Dempsey, Lee Dempsey, and Frank Dempsey, all of Liberty; and one sister, Mrs. Terresia Bales, of route 3, Blountsville.
The funeral services were held at Five Points and were conducted by Rev. M.T. Kirkland, with Wade in charge.
