JAMES M. FENDLEY BURIED IN ONEONTA SUNDAY

Last rites were conducted here Sunday afternoon for James M. Fendley of Trussville, formerly of Oneonta. Services were held at Lester Memorial with Rev. E.M. Barnes, Jr., officiating. Mr. Fendley was stricken with a heart attack at his home in Trussville late Friday night. He was rushed to the Leeds Clinic but died enroute to the hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della Moore Fendley; two sons Harold and Bobby Gene; one daughter, Dianna; two brothers, J.S. of Oneonta and A.W. of Oklahoma City; one sister, Mrs. W.L. Yeilding of Birmingham.
Mr. Fendley was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Oneonta Lodge A.F. and A.M.
Out of town people attending the funeral were; Mr. And Mrs. Bruce Morrison, Mr. And Mrs. Atkins, Mr. And Mrs. John Moore, Mr. And Mrs. Harold Livingston all of Trussville, Mr. And Mrs. Roy Moore and Mrs. Jim Moore of Altoona, Mrs. A.A. Fendley, of Birmingham, Mr. And Mrs. Clyde Yeilding and Sidney Yeilding of Birmingham, Mr. And Mrs. Bryson, daughters and son of Woodlawn.
