Mrs. J.D. Little Submitted by Diane Bryant THE SOUTHERN DEMOCRAT (27 Jan 1949) MRS. J. D. LITTLE DIES AT THE AGE OF NINTY-THREE One of Blount’s oldest citizens, Mrs. J.A. Little, passed away Saturday, January 15. Her death occurred at the home of a grandson, Marvin Little, on Route 1, Horton. Funeral services were held at Gibbs Chapel and were conducted by Rev. Mitchell. She is survived by two sons, W.B. and A.C. Little; one daughter, Mrs. Nora Latta; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
