Loula Mae Loggins Posey Submitted by Diane Bryant THE SOUTHERN DEMOCRAT (19 Feb, 1953) Mrs. Posey Dies at Hospital Feb 16 Mrs. Loula Mae Posey, 61, of Rt. 1, Remlap, died at a local hospital Monday morning February 16, after an extended illness. She was the wife of the late Walter James Posey. Her parents were the late Mr. And Mrs. Sam Loggins. Survivors include one son, R.R. Posey, of Birmingham; one daughter, Mrs. T.E. Marshall, of Rt. 1 Remlap; two brothers, Mitt Loggins, of Dallas, and Herbert Loggins, of Birmingham, five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 17, at Remlap Methodist Church with Rev. R.E. Melvin officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, Chamber Brown Service in charge.
