Thomas McConnell Submitted by Robin Sterling The Southern Democrat, 9 Mar 1911 Thomas McConnell Passes Away News has reached here of the death of Thomas McConnell which occurred at his home near Gadsden on Feb. 22nd. Mr. McConnell was for many years a citizen of this county and had many friends who will regret to hear of his death. He was a brother of J.C. McConnell who resides on route 2, Oneonta. Mr. McConnell was about 86 years of age and was a life-long member of the Methodist church. He is survived by an aged widow and two sons—Dr. R.F. McConnell, of Attalla, and Andrew M. McConnell, of New York
