Mrs. Eva Moorehouse Submitted by Diane Bryant The Southern Democrat (20 Jan 1955) Obituary County Matron Dies in Florida Mrs. Eva Moorehouse, age 64, of Rt. 3 Blountsville, died Saturday morning, January 8, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Allie Robbins, in Lakeland, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Josh Timmerman. Surviving Mrs. Moorehouse are one son, W.B. Moorehouse, of Homestead, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Robbins; one brother, A. G. Timmerman, Rt. 3, Blountsville; five sisters, Mrs. Winnie Tidwell, Summit, Mrs. Mary Dunn, Mrs. Vertie Taylor, Mrs. Ella Belle Brooks, Mrs. Coy Bryant, all of Rt. 3 Blountsville; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Funeral service were held on Jan 12 at Christian Advent Church, the Rev. Lee Espy officiating. Burial was in Hood Cemetery, Wiggins Brown- Service Funeral Home in charge.
