Royal Citizen Dies
Mrs. Timmerman, (Mary Frances Helm Timmerman), age 81, died on Route 3, Blountsville, after an illness of one week with pneumonia, on Wednesday, December 29th.
She one of the oldest and best liked women of the Royal community. But she was known for her charitable spirit and her Christian life. She was a member of the Church of the Advent.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Eva Moorehouse, Mrs. Ella Belle Brooks, Mrs. Mary Dunn, Mrs. Vertie Taylor, Mrs. Coy Bryant and Mrs. Winnie Tidwell; and one son, Goodie Timmerman.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herman Owens, of the Gadsden Church of the Advent, with interment in Hood's Cemetery, on Thursday, December 3oth. Drinkard of Oneonta was in Charge.
