MRS. GEORGE PARKER DIES AT CLEVELAND
Mrs. George Parker, who had been suffering with high blood pressure for sometime, died at her home at Cleveland Sunday. She was 73 years of age and was a consecrated member of the M.E. Church, South. She was one of the charter members of the Methodist Church at Cleveland which was organized in 1884, her name appearing as the eleventh name on the original church roll.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, one son, L.E. Parker, of Union Point; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Brice, of Indiana, and Mrs. M.E. Pass, of Cleveland, two brothers, Dr. L.L. Wikle, of Madison, and J.M. Wikle, of New Orleans. The funeral services were held at Cleveland Monday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. H.P. Waits and Rev. W.L. Hendricks.
