Mrs. Jane Reese Submitted by Robin Sterling The Southern Democrat, 10 Oct 1912 Good Old Lady Gone The death of Mrs. Jane Reese, which occurred at her home in Concord beat, last Friday, brought sorrow to many friends throughout the county. She had been ill for some time and succumbed to cancer. This good old lady was 82 years old and was a member of the Presbyterian church for 42 years. Her sagely council will be greatly missed in her late community. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Thos. Huffstutler of Oneonta, Mrs. F.M. Armstrong of route one, and Mrs. Bud Argo of Ashville, all of whom have the deep sympathy of their many friends. Funeral services were held at the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Oneonta, Saturday morning, conducted by Rev. Chastine of Birmingham, and Rev. S.C. Allgood of Oneonta. Interment in the Liberty cemetery.
