Thomas Sanders The Southern Democrat, 21 Jan 1915 Thomas Sanders, one of the oldest citizens of this county, died at the home of his son, near Easley, last Saturday. He lacked only a few days being 93 years of age. He was a member of the Baptist church at Cleveland and is said to have been a good old man. The funeral services were held at the Burnt Mountain cemetery and were conducted by Rev. L.T. Fendley ================================ The Blount County Journal, 22 Jan 1915 Thomas Sanders Dead Uncle Tom Sanders died at his home near Easley school house January 16th, aged 93 years. He was a consistent member of the Missionary Baptist church, membership at Cleveland. The deceased leaves several children and a host of friends to mourn his death. Interment at Burnt Mountain cemetery, funeral services being conducted by Rev. L.T. Fendley.
