Stephens will regret to learn of his death which occurred in a Birmingham infirmary last Thursday. Mr. Stephens had been suffering for some time from a brain trouble and had been carried to Birmingham for treatment. The deceased was one of Blount's best citizens and resided on route 2, Walnut Grove. He was about forty years of age and had been a member of the Baptist church for many years. He is survived by his widow and five children.
