Mrs. T.W. Hood Dead

On last Friday morning the spirit of Mrs. T.W. Hood took its flight to the Great Beyond. She had been in ill health for a long time and had been lingering between life and death for several weeks.

Mrs. Hood was 57 years of age and had been a member of the Primitive Baptist church for a long time. She was a good woman and always met her friends pleasantly but the sad expression never disappeated from her face after the tragic death of her little son who was crushed under a moving train more than three years ago.

The deceased is survived by her devoted her husband, two sons, Perry and Lane and three daughters, Mrs. R.L. McEntire and Misses Ora and Ruth.

The funeral services were held at the Hood cemetery near Royal and were conducted by Rev. S.C. Allgood.
