Good Man Gone
The many friends of Mr. H.K. Wikle were pained to hear of his death last Thursday at the home of Mr. McCarn, at Cleveland. He was eighty-two years old, and was formerly Sheriff of Blount county. He was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church, South, at Cleveland and a trustee of that church for a number of years. Mr. Wikle had lived in Blount county over forty years and during that time has done much for the upbuilding of the county. He is survived by two sons, Dr. L.L. Wikle, of Madison, and J.M. Wikle, of Birmingham, a host of relatives and friends. Interment at Cleveland cemetery.
