Introduction
The following photos (with exceptions noted) were taken at Brushey Creek Cemetery on June 25, 2002 by Mildred Stinson Brown. These are some of the oldest tombstones and a random sampling to grave markers in the cemetery. To view the photos at a larger size, double click on the photo.

It is said that the first grave in the old
part of Brushey Creek Cemetery was buried under or near these bushes. No one can
say who was buried there.
