The picture was taken about 1849 at the home of Isaac & Elizabeth Sims Boyer in Cocke County, Tennessee.
The picture is of Isaac & Elizabeth Sims Boyer's children and Elizabeth Sims Boyer's mother Johanna "Joanna" Gayden Sims.
Johanna Gayden married Elliott Sims abt 1793/1794. Elliott & Joanna Gayden Sims are the parents of Elizabeth Sims. Elizabeth Sims married Isaac Boyer and all the others in the picture are the children of Isaac & Elizabeth - they had 15 children. They had two children that were not in the picture: Charles died in 1830 and Peter died in 1829.
