GRAHAM - I am seeking information on George W. GRAHAM, b. c1796, NC. His wife Cecelia (BROWN?) was born c1808, SC. They came from the NC/SC border possibly around Richmond Co., NC. They moved to AL between 1836- 1841, first listed in Benton Co.,AL in 1850 and from 1860 forward, Cecelia & family are listed in Cherokee Co.,AL. Children include Eliza, Mary, William H., John, Roberson, Hulda, Martha, & James. Last three children were born in AL, and earlier ones born in NC. I have census data (1850-1880)on many Grahams from Cherokee Co. to share.

He married Sarah Ann LAMBERT, who was born 09 Jul 1812 in Calhoun Co. Al and d. 11 Feb 1881 in same cem. Who were their parents and when did they marry? They had a son John Floyd SMITH b. 15 Dec 1839 and a son Samuel Harriis SMITH b. 27 Oct 1835. Don't know if there were other children. Thanks for any help.

I am looking for any information that may be available on the parentage of my great-grandfather. His name was Thaddeus David WOODARD, born on 3 October 1861 in Alabama. He married Mary Anna DARK of Tallapoosa County on 19 December 1886. Thaddeus David (T.D.) and Mary Anna had several children, including my grandfather, Percy Perry (Sr.), who was born in Anniston, Calhoun County, on 22 June 1900. They subsequently moved to Texas following the birth of my grandfather. I am trying to find out any information possible on the name of T.D.'s father, which has been lost to history as far as I know. Any information on the WOODARD line would also be greatly appreciated.

Zamer was the daughter of Milton SEWELL and Mary LAND. The children of William and Zamer were Stephen Milton ,born 1867. Sophronia, born 1870, James W.,born 1874, and twins Robert and Joseph born 1877. Stephen Milton died in OK in 1909. James W. lived in Morgan Co Al until about 1921 and then moved back to Calhoun Co. I'm looking for the parents of John Wesley JOHNSON who was born in 1875. We believe he was born in Calhoun Co. He certainly spent most of his life there. We know he had a brother Henry and a sister Nancy. We think JWJ may have been a junior, and his mother may have been named Lucinda. He married Mary Alice Thornton DENSON. They had four children, including my grandmother, Iva Lee JOHNSON, who was living with her parents in Calhoun during the 1920 census. JWJ was said to have been married once before, with no children. He later married Mary Frances HODGES. Any information at all on this family would make my life richer! Thanks.

In the 1860 Calhoun county Census their children listed were Malinda, Frances, Aferd, and John. I believe that Alferd and Sarah McCamey are the parents of my g-g-g grandmother Sarah McCamey HAWKINS BARNETT. Sarah first married a HAWKINS and they had two children; Fannie and Thomas HAWKINS.
