Dear Editor:‑‑‑‑Thought I would write a short letter to our new
paper. We sure are
proud we are going to have a new paper published in our
little town of Cherokee.
The farmers in this community are progressing nicely with their crops. All would
be glad to see a nice rain.

community, being 80 year’s old.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hamilton visited her father, Mr. T. R. Burns, at Maud,
last Saturday and Sunday.
Well, as this is our first letter to your paper, will not write any more.
Wishing you, Mr. Editor, great success,
Two Little Rosebuds.
