ROUTE NO. 4 [The West Colbert News, Friday, 6 Aug 1915, p. 3]
The farmers are needing rain mighty much.
Heap o’ people this year and most of them are going to church.
The nights are growing longer now and we don’t have to sleep so fast,
and we have plenty of time to attend evening services.
Mr. T. B. Gaisser, of Margerum, is visiting his brother, John Gaisser at
     Isbell, Ala., this week.
Mr. Henry Roberts and wife, Messrs. R. H. Wallace, Sidney Carter
and Charles Tuberville were all visiting Mr. J. J. Gaiser and family
     Sunday afternoon.
Elders Cheney and Mower, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints have been conducting a protracted meeting near Mr. C. C.
Gutheries last week. Their meeting was well attended each time.
Geo. F. Gaisser mowed his Sudon grass last week. Some of the grass
was nine feet tall; How is that for grass?
Mr. Little and Mr. Sam Kim, of Iuka, came up Friday and bought a thrashing
machine and traction engine from Mr. Davenport.
Road working time is here.
