Richard Myrick

Funeral services for Richard Myrick, 60, who died at University Hospital in Birmingham Saturday at 8:55 p.m., will be held Monday at 2 p.m at the First Baptist Church in Sheffield. Time of service however is subject to change.

A member of the Sheffield Lion's Club and Mason Order, he was also a member of IBEW No. 558.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Alabama Sight Conservation Association.

Mr. Myrick is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida. B. Myrick, Sheffield; one son Gerald D. Myrick, Florence; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Wylie, Mrs. Juanita Smith, both of Sheffield and Mrs. Ethel Davis, Tuscumbia; and a number of other relatives.

Employes of Sheffield Power, Water and Gas Department will serve as pall bearers.

The body will remain at Spry's Funeral Home until time for services.

Note: Richard Myrick was the son of Charles Cypress Myrick, born in Colbert County, Alabama.
