Earle Edward Doud and his grandfather Sylvester Doud
(age 82) who was visiting from Vermont.  Earle's father was
Edward Doud. Sylvester Doud was the uncle of Dr Otis David
Smith, professor and for a short time president of what is now
Auburn University. The photo was taken in Sheffield in 1888.
