Inez Riggs, age 94, of Spanish Fort, passed away Sunday May 16, 2004 at Westminster Village. She was born September 20, 1909 in conecuh County. she was a WAC in World War II and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant 1st Class. She was a retired general clerk with the United States Government.

Graveside servicdes were held Friday, May 21, 2004 at 10 AM from the Bellevfille Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Calvin Lasley officiating and Cope Funeral home directing.

Survivors include one sister, Alice Riggs Pleasant, Tyler, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
