PERKINS,

Jennifer
Miller March 22, 2004
I will send you more information later but hoped to get
started with this. The family was from Luverne. The
PERKINS/KELLEY(KELLY) connection was as follows; Annie
Ethel KELLEY married Thomas PERKINS. Annie Ethel KELLEY's
parents were Dewitt Kelley and Susan Owens KELLEY. We are
trying to find out Dewitt Kelley's siblings names and
parents names. His mother is a full blooded Cherokee who
married an Irish man (KELLEY) I have a picture of Dewitt
KELLEY and Susan O. KELLEY with Annie KELLEY as a child
and Dewitt's brother and sister in law and their mother
the Cherokee but don't know their names. I also have a
picture of Annie KELLEY with her class mates in front of
the Rutledge school. She was born in the late 1800's and
looked to be a teen in the picture. How do I get this to
you? Thanks for any help.

SELPH, CATO, THOMAS
Heather
Selph June 13, 2001
My grandmother is Bertie Mae Cato SELPH. She was
born the sixth of eight children to James Andrew
"Ander" CATO and Lucy Jean Brasiel CATO.
Their children were, in order of birth: Mary
Elizabeth, John Tommy, General Robert, James HENRY,
Ruthie Mae, Bertie Mae, Vernice Orean, and Joel
Abraham. Grandma and Vernice are the only two still
alive. I have dates and marriage/family
information on most of these. Ander Cato was the son of John Cato and
Flora Etta/Floretta ___ CATO. I really don't have
much on them, and was hoping to find more at your
site. But, I do know their children's names:
Henry, Susannah, James Andrew "Ander," Huldy,
and Lucas. Aunt Huldy died around 1987, when she
was in her late 90's. I have some info on
their marriages/families. Lucy Jean (or Lucy Jane) Brasiel
was the daughter of John or James THOMAS Brasiel and
Mittie A. (Arminta?) McMURRY. I was also
hoping to find something on either of these families
here. Their children were: Charlie, Lucy Jean,
Elbert Howard, Comer Lavode, Willie R., Rufus Thomas, and
Lucian Oliver. I have dates and marriage/family
info for some of these, as many of them migrated to
Thomaston, Georgia, which is where I live. My
grandmother and her sister, Ruthie, also lived here, and
their older brother General.
