MOSELEY - CAMPBELL. Nita Munoz provides information about these two related families on her "Cuddins" website. The descendants of John M. Campbell (b.1788) and his spouses can be found on the Campbell "Cuddins" page. CAMPBELL. Mary Underwood's Clan Campbell page lists the descendants of and provides background information about William Campbell (c.1800) and Mary Ann King of Woodlawn Precinct, Dallas County.

DAY. Lygia Cutts lists the descendants of William Day and his son, Harvey Silas Day who settled in Dallas County in the mid-late 1830's on Lygia's Genealogy Page.

FULFORD - GODWIN. The descendancy chart for Joseph Fulford and Clarkey Fulford of Plantersville appears on Pat Bell's Fulford Family page. Her Godwin Family page outlines the descendants of John Godwin and Ann Wright. Some members of the Fulford family are buried in the little Methodist Episcopal (Fulford) Cemetery outside of Plantersville.

GAYLE. The Family of John & Nancy (Whitehead) Gayle. Several of their descendants resided in Dallas - son George W. Gayle represented Dallas County in the Alabama legislature for a term in the 1830's and one in the 1840's. He was an attorney, a Southern patriot, and quite a vivid personality.

GREENING. John and Mary (Whitehead) Greening were among the very earliest settlers of Dallas county. They moved there from Sumter District, SC in 1815. Their son John James Greening represented Dallas county in the state legislature in the 1830's. His brother Eldridge Swepson Greening, who practiced law in Conecuh County, represented that part of Alabama in the U.S. Congress in the 1820's. Their brother Wade Horace Greening was a surveyor for Dallas county in the 1840's. Judy Baugh presents some brief information about this family on her Swepson Family pages.

PARDUE - MILLING. Mary Underwood's Pardue Family pages detail the ancestry of Sarah Pardue who married William Milling and settled early in Dallas County. The Millings lost all their sons to the State of Alabama during the Civil War. Their interesting story was recently featured at a huge Pardue family reunion in Atlanta.

RUSSELL. From Carol Elliott: William Russell of NC came to Valley Creek near Selma in 1816, helped found the Presbyterian Church, and was the first buried in the Valley Creek Cemetery.

SAFFOLD. Michael and Vivian P. Saffold's Saffold Family Society site contains information about the descendants of Judge Reuben Saffold (1788-1847) and Mary Evelyn Phillips and of Seaborn Jones Saffold II, son of Seaborn Jones Saffold and Julia Smith Heard, as well as other Saffold families.
