PFC. ALLEN

Pfc. John F. Allen, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, of Fort Payne, was killed in Germany November 21, 1944. The remains arrived in Fort Payne Monday evening for burial.

Survivors are the parents; three brother, Walter C., Ancil W. and Clyde W. Allen, all of Fort Payne; five sisters, Mrs. Alvis Dick, Mrs. Ancil Clark, Mrs. Jesse Mae Clark and Misses Jimmie Fay and Betty Jo Allen, all of Fort Payne.

Military funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Mr. Hermon with Rev. Clyde Hendrix and Rev. Henry Clark officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with McBryar Funeral Home in charge.
