Military funeral services for Pfc. William H. Brewer, 22, of Groveoak who was killed in France July 20, 1944, will be held at Mt. Pleasant Fridsay at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Brewer had lived in DeKalb County all his life and attended the schools of Tenbroeck.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H., Brewer, three brothers, Floyd, DeWitt and Buddy, all of Groveoak; four sisters, Mrs. Mertice Spearman, Atlanta; Mrs. Jeanette McKelvey, Dawson; Misses Jewel Lee and Robbie Brewer, both of Groveoak; grandmother, Mrs. L. M. Camp, Groveoak.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.

His body is scheduled to arrive in Fort Payne Thursday at 5:46 p.m., and will be carried to the home of his parents where it will remain until the hour of the service.
