Mrs. Clyde White, on Rt. 1, Collinsville received a second telegram July 30, a "corrected report" from the war department, stating that her son, Pfc. Wilfred F. Cagle, 25, was killed in action on June 14, in France. The previous telegram informed her that her son was missing in action.
