PARACHUTE TROOPER HERE Bryson Cash, son of Washington Cash, High Point, is at home on furlough from Fort Benning, Ga. SERGEANT BRYSON CASH ACCIDENTALLY KILLED AT FORT BENNING Sergeant Bryson Cash, age 25, Instructor in the Parachute Division, fort Benning Infantry School, was instantly killed Wednesday when he walked in the way of an airplane on the field that had just started up, the propeller hitting him. Sgt. Cash enlisted in the Army two and one-half years ago. he was highly esteemed by all who know him, not only by his army comrades, but the people of DeKalb County. A Christian gentleman, he was a member of the Stamp Baptist church on Sand Mountain. Surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Cash, Fort Payne, Route 2; one brother, Earnest Cash, U.S. Navy; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Clark, Fort Payne, Route two; Mrs. Ellen McCormick, Athens, Georgia and Miss Mildred Cash at home. Funeral services were held at noon at 2 o'clock with the Revs. New Home church, Friday afternoon-Luther Dean, O. T. Perry and J. M. White officiating. Interment in New Hope cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers were: Sgt. Cline, Sgt. Thomas, Sgt. Scarborough, Sgt. Christopher, Sgt. Johnson, Sgt. Wells. Honor Guard was: Master Sgt. Boram, Sgt. Pafford, Sgt. IN MEMORY OF Bryson Cash Bryson Cash was born Nov. 30, 1916 and died May 6, 1942. he accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and united with Stamps Baptist Church August 8, 1932 and lived a true and faithful member until his death. His passing left a loneliness and sadness in the hearts of all who knew him, but our loss is Heaven's gain. The life he lived for Christ bore testimony of true Christian. Whereas, god saw fit to call Brother Bryson Cash to his reward. We bow in humble submission to his will, who doeth all things well. We wish to commend his faithfulness to his Sunday School and Church and to all the young Christians of our church.
