PFC. DEWEY CLARK

The remains of Dewey H. Clark, 21, who was killed July 15, 1944, in the battle of St. Lo, in France, will arrive in Fort Payne, Friday, July 16 at 5:46 p.m. He was a native of Fort Payne, having lived here all hie life until he entered the service, Feb. 1945 and went overseas may 1944. He attended the schools of Fort Payne and was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Clark, Fort Payne; two brothers, William J. Clark, Attalla; Clifford Ray Clark, Fort Payne; three sister, Mrs. Lois Templeton, Gadsden; Mrs. Mildred Wells, Attalla; Mrs. Anna June Swancey, New London, Conn. paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Clark; maternal grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Bryant.

Funeral services will be held at Town Creek Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. W. J. Heflin, of Chattanooga, and Rev. Sid Windsor, of Rossville, Ga., officiating.

Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
