Coley, 32, of Fort Payne, who was killed in Germany Dec. 15, 1944, will be held at Walnut Grove Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. L. L. Shankles and Rev. Curtis Sampley officiating. Coley was born in Etowah County but was living in Fort Payne at the tine of his entry into the service in February, 1944. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annette Coley, and one son, Hugh Thomas; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Coley, Fort Payne; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie McElhaney, Mrs. Hettie Tate, Mrs. Haddie Singleton and Mrs. Hazel Poth. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Wilson funeral Home will be in charge. His body is scheduled to arrive in Fort Payne Thursday morning at 7:02, and will be carried to his home where it will remain until the hour of the service.
