Pfc. Alvin Corbin, son of Mrs. Mary Corbin, of Fort Payne, was killed in Italy October 3, 1945. His remains will arrive in Fort Payne Friday, March 4. Funeral services will be held at Dean's Chapel Saturday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Floyd Crowe and other ministers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Corbin; one brother, Gwen Corbin, Fort Payne, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed B. Elliott, Henagar, Rt. 1; also two nephews, Chester and Michael Edward Corbin, Selma. Pierce Funeral Home will be in charge of funeral arrangements.
