PFC. ERNEST EASON

Funeral services for Pfc. Ernest T. Eason, 38, of Groveoak, who died in England Oct. 26, 1944, of wounds received in France Oct. 11, 1944, were held at Beulah Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Fort Payne Post 3128 V.F.W. and National Guard Co. C. 151st Combat Engineers furnishing full military honors, Pfc. Eason was born and had spent most of his life in DeKalb County until he entered the service in Dec. 1941.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. L. A. Eason, Groveoak; two brothers, Howard, Groveoak and Lewis, Scottsboro, and two sisters.

Burial was in Beulah cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
