King was killed in action in France, September 26. Arnold was the husband of Mildred (Burt) King and the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. King of Fort Payne Route 2. We couldn't begin to tell the sorrow this sad news has brought to our hearts. We ask the prayers of God's people to help us in the loss of our loved one. Arnold was also the brother of Sgt. Robert C. ARNOLD KING The body of Pfc. Arnold L. King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff King, of Fort Payne, Rt. 2, is scheduled to arrive in Fort Payne Tuesday at 5:46 p.m. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley's Chapel. Rev. Herman Rogers and Rev. Leonard Cook will officiate. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff King, Fort Payne, Rt. 2; two brothers, Marvin King, Fort Payne, Rt. 2, and Robert C. King, of the U.S. Army! four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hodges, Mrs. Lois Johnson and Miss Mary Nell King, Fort Payne Rt. 2, and Mrs. Pauline Robertson, Cincinnati. McBryar Funeral Home will be in charge.
