Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery
Ball Play
Submitted by: Ken McCulloch
Directions: From Hokes Bluff take the Centre Road to the Ball Play
Community of Etowah County. Pass Croft's Ferry Road to Gilley Road (there's a sign to Mt. Tabor).
Turn left and go about a mile to a fork in the road. Take the left fork and Mt. Tabor Baptist Church
is just about 3/4 mile on the right.
The cemetery is adjacent to the church.
This survey was taken March 8, 2003.
The rows are irregular and start diagonally off the left rear corner of the Church with Row 1 being against a pasture fence. Unless noted as "DBL" the tombstones will be single. My comments will be shown in brackets "{ }". There are a lot of unmarked and unidentified graves here, I've included only those marked in some way.
