I am searching for information about a LOUISA SIMMONS born 1837
in Georgia. Louisa was also known as Elizabeth Jane or Eliza SIMMONS.
Louisa married WILLIAM ANDREWS November 8, 1851 in Tuscaloosa County,
Alabama. I have been unable to discover the names of her parents.
The 1850 census of Fayette County lists an Eliza SIMMONS, age 14, living
with a JOSEPH SIMMONS, age 76 and his wife, SARAH SIMMONS, age 60, also
the 1850 Green County, Alabama, census lists a Louisa Simmons, age 14,
living with a MADISON B. POSEY, age 35, a physician. Louisa
and her husband WILLIAM ANDREWS, lived in Fayette County for a number of
years and in 1867 moved to Conway County, Arkansas. Any information
about Louisa's family would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for information on Frances SMITSON who married Joshua
L. LEE on 19 Dec 1866 in Fayette Co Alabama. The surname SMITSON
maybe a misspelling for SMITHSON or SMITHERN. Joshua's
parents William and Martha were residents probably until about the time
the 1870 census was taken as they and the families of some of the married
children are found in Monroe Co., Mississippi, in 1870.

Looking for a marriage license for a Drury COCKERHAM and an
Elizabeth ? COCKERHAM. Probably married between 1820 and possibly
1830, just a supposition. The 1840 Federal census list a son and
two daughters in Tippah County, Mississippi, not sure where the daughters
were born but the son was born in Tippah County, Mississippi, in 1839.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. By the way, Drury was
60 years old in 1840 and his wife was between 30-40 years old. Thanks.

Where is the Burr Wilson Store located? I'm researching
for graves in Fayette County children of John Gardner and his wife
Lucy Ann, their names as follows: Harriet Gardner (1829-1834), Christopher
C. Gardner (1831-1834), Virgil A. Gardner (1837-1850). John and Lucy
moved to MS by 1850 so there is a possibility that Virgil died there rather
than Fayette County, AL. Jeanetta Gardner

I am looking for information on Julius Estes and Ellen Price
or Samantha E. Estes. I believe they were married in Fayette Co.,
1887. They were still living there in 1920 Census. They had
at least three children, Ruby E. (my husbands line), Birdie/Bud, and Irma.
The only information I have found is the census record and marriage information
all found online. I have submitted a death certificate request from
Lamar Co., which is where the family seems to have moved by the 1930 Census.
Any help on their respective families, residence, births, etc. is deeply
appreciated. Thanks, Heather
