His mother, Ada E. SANFORD (b. 18 Jun 1893), was the daughter of James A. SANFORD
and Mary Hepsibeth LOWREY.  Her friend Delia (1890-1972) was the daughter of Ben KEETH
and Martha Jane HARMER.
