Location: The cemetery appears on the Alabama Department Of Transportation map as a lone unnamed cemetery near a small stream at T5N, R28E, Sec 21.
Go north from Granberry crossroads for about one mile on State Road 55 and turn left on County Road 8. You are now going due west. After about 3/4 mile,
turn right on County Road 49 and after about a mile it turns west. Do not turn but go straight ahead (north) on a trace and continue until the trace ends
at the tree line. Look at about your two o'clock position and you will see a clump of trees about a 1/4 mile away. It's in that clump and I would highly
recommend going there only during the cooler months as it is quite snaky. I personally had to crawl thru the brush to get to the markers. One note: with
the advent of E-911 the county road designations for Henry may have changed.
I got a chance to visit Granberry Cemetery today (December 30, 2001) and I am enclosing all of the graves that were able to be read. The cemetery is
in the middle of a peanut field at the end of CR 85 in Henry County Alabama. The cemetery is surrounded by a chain-link fence 60' x 60' and within the
fence are several trees that shade the cemetery during the middle of the day. Any trip to the cemetery would be best done during the winter months when
