Barbour County Alabama, off County Road (CR) 131, south of Bakerhill Alabama: travel about 1 ½ miles, turn on CR 75 go about 3 miles, turn
right on Pond Bethel Church Road. These are descendents of Bryant Glen Griffin, son of Thomas and Nancy Stewart Griffin. The cemetery is across the street
from Bryant’s old farm place from the 1850’s.

| NOTE: Visited this Cemetery 24 Sept 1999. Found the home of Mrs. Maude Griffin, she was not home. Talked to a neighbor (relative), Frances Griffin, 2nd wife of James Allen Griffin, Miss Maude was in the hospital for eye surgery. Frances told us the current Mayor of Bakerhill Alabama was “Jr. Griffin” (did not get to visit with him). Also spoke with the postman, (in this area) his last name was LEE (he was researching the LEE line), he remembered the story about “Ida Griffin married Robert LEE she was only about 18 he was 68. - Linda Harrison | ||
